Ready! Set! Hungarofest!

We warmly welcome you all to the 5th Hungarofest on the 20th of July 2019. Let’s meet in Senior Citizens Centre, Broadbeach so we can celebrate Hungary’s most beloved cultural assets! There will be plenty of programs just so everyone can enjoy what Hungary has to offer! Children can keep busy at the arts and crafts table, turn into a tiger or a butterfly with a little help from our face painter and take part in other fun games. What’s more, we will have firemen as our special guests who will not forget to bring their great big fire engine along. One can also expect film screening and great music too. More specifically, Hungarian folk music and top Hungarian retro hits from the last century. Once you feel like relaxing a bit, you shall have a bite of Hungary. We will have langos (traditional Hungarian fried bread), Hungarian homemade sausages with side and plenty of special cakes which are basically, significant pillars of Hungarian cuisine. And just to slake your thirst too there will be Hungarian palinka (plum brandy), mulled wine as well as non-alcoholic drinks. Come and have a wonderful day with us!
